The Northern United Junior Hockey Club is separate from the NUHC, and caters for players aged 5 to 13 years. No experience is necessary, coaching is provided, sticks and balls supplied.

Junior hockey training is held at Newlands Turf, 26 Black Rock Road (Paparangi Tennis Club), Newlands.
