Wellington Hockey Association has released the calendar for 2019, which sets out the dates for all Open Grade matches.
The season will begin on the weekend of 6-7 April for all grades.
There are breaks for Easter (20-21 April) and Queen’s Birthday (1-2 June) but the competition won’t stop for Under 18 or Under 21 tournaments this year, due to complaints about the high level of disruption caused in previous years.
The Premier 1 grades will finish with finals on 17 August, while the other grades will continue until their finals on 14-15 September.
